Last updated: 12 September 2026
1. What we collect
- Aadhaar — identity verification
- PAN — tax compliance under the Income Tax Act
- Bank proof — payout processing
- FSSAI license — food safety compliance under the FSS Act, 2006
- Producer photo — platform profile
2. Why we collect
- Aadhaar: Confirms you are a real, uniquely identified person before we list your kitchen. It prevents impersonation and duplicate accounts.
- PAN: Required to report earnings and deduct tax where applicable under the Income Tax Act, 1961.
- Bank proof: Ensures payouts reach an account that belongs to you, and satisfies payment-partner verification requirements.
- FSSAI license: Mandatory for anyone manufacturing or selling food in India under the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006.
- Producer photo: Builds buyer trust by showing the real person behind the kitchen on your public profile.
3. How documents are stored
All documents are stored in private encrypted storage. Access is time-limited (5-minute signed URLs) and logged. Documents are never shared with third parties.
4. Who can access
Only verified Tummy & Mummy coordinators during the onboarding review process. All access is logged in our audit trail.
5. Retention period
Documents are retained while your account is active plus 3 years after deactivation, as required for GST audit compliance and FSSAI record-keeping.
6. Your rights
You may request deletion of your data (by closing your account), request a copy of your data (via the data export feature in your dashboard), or correct errors by re-uploading documents.
